PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
HG-Stahl Cryogenic Valves are designed to operate at extremely low temperatures (-196°C). The most critical aspect of the design is ensuring the safety of the valve and process, along with selecting the appropriate materials.
These valves enable the control or transportation of gases like CNG, LNG, Oxygen, or Hydrogen by liquefying them at low temperatures.
HG-Stahl Cryogenic Valves not only offer their own branded products but also provide the products of their American and European partners in Germany and the United Kingdom. Additionally, upon request, HG-Stahl can offer custom-designed, tailor-made cryogenic valves that do not conform to standard specifications.
In cryogenic valve design, the impact of temperature changes is of great importance. Since materials tend to expand and contract at extremely low temperatures, the compatibility of cryogenic valve components is ensured with precision. HG-Stahl cryogenic valves feature a long stem structure that protects the body from the direct impact of cold fluids, thereby preventing thermal shocks. The seals and sealing elements used in cryogenic valve products are chosen to withstand these conditions, ensuring operational continuity and minimizing maintenance requirements. In cryogenic valve production, low-temperature leakage tests are a critical step to guarantee safety.
