PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

HG-Stahl Disco Wafer Check Valves operate on the principle of preventing the flow of fluid up to a certain pressure by applying spring force in the opposite direction of the incoming fluid. These products, produced in a smaller and slimmer design compared to swing-type products, offer ease of use in confined spaces but should not be preferred for high-pressure applications.

HG-Stahl Wafer Check Valves are manufactured according to our own standards but can also be tailored to the specific dimensions requested by the user. HG-Stahl serves industries such as chemical, cement, petroleum, gas, natural gas, mining, steel, and energy by providing high-quality products quickly and tailored to various applications.

Designs created in the UK Engineering Office are manufactured in Germany, China, and Turkey, depending on capacity and processes, and all tests are completed in compliance with API or ISO standards before delivery to the final point of use.

HG-Stahl Wafer Check Valves come in a variety of material options, including steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, and Inconel.

The HG-Stahl Disco Wafer Check Valve uses a spring-loaded mechanism to prevent backflow, allowing for quick closure tailored to the pipeline it is used in, thereby preventing pressure fluctuations from damaging the system. Their compact structure offers ease of installation in limited spaces, while a wide range of materials meets various industrial needs. The greatest strength of HG-Stahl wafer-style disco check valves lies in their tailor-made design and production, enabling valves to be created in the desired size and material. Their low-pressure drop feature increases energy efficiency, and options resistant to corrosion and high temperatures are also available. HG-Stahl provides customizable check valve solutions for different applications based on customer requirements.

Disco wafer check valves can be single or double-plated. Double-plated designs are flow-sensitive and close automatically based on the fluid’s velocity and pressure. This feature minimizes the damage that sudden pressure fluctuations can cause to the system while completely eliminating the risk of backflow. The valve’s compact structure allows for use in confined spaces, offering flexible usage with horizontal or vertical mounting options.
