PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
HG-Stahl High-Performance Globe Valves are particularly preferred in processes for controlling fluid flow rates. The external body material of standard globe valves can be made of cast steel or stainless steel, while the internal components vary depending on the type of fluid.
High-Performance Globe Valves are designed and used with metal-to-metal sealing. While stellite coating is predominantly used for the seat, other types of coatings can be applied depending on the process and fluid.
The designs of HG-Stahl High-Performance Globe Valves comply with BS 6364, EN 12516, ISO 17292, ANSI B16.34, and API 6D standards, while the face-to-face dimensions can be tailored to EN 558, ANSI B16.10, or specific size requests. For connection flanges, we adhere to EN 1092-1 & EN 1092-2, ANSI B16.5, and B16.47 standards. The top flange connection standard is ISO 5211. Our products are tested to meet international standards such as API 598, ANSI FCI 70-2, and ISO 5208.
High-performance globe valves provide exceptional performance not only under high pressure and temperature but also in applications where control of high-velocity fluids and reduction of turbulence are required. Thanks to specially developed internal components and design features, pressure drops during fluid flow within the globe valve are minimized.
High-performance globe valve (heavy-duty globe valve) products are specially reinforced in their internal design to resist erosion damage caused by high velocities and pressure differences. This feature ensures long-lasting performance, particularly when operating with seawater, chemicals, or other abrasive fluids. Another critical factor considered in the design of high-performance globe valve products is acoustic performance. Noise and vibrations caused by high-velocity fluid passing through the valve are minimized using acoustic wave analysis.
In High-Performance Globe Valves, proper material selection is ensured based on the acidic level of the fluid, enabling the valves to operate effectively for many years. Besides standard steel or stainless steel materials, different specialized materials can be requested. Among these materials, we can offer our partner firms: Titanium Alloys (Titanium Gr.2, Gr.3, Gr.5, Gr.6, Gr.7, Gr.12), Zirconium Alloys (Zirconium 702, 705), Bronze Alloys (C95800, C95500, C95400, C63200), Nickel Alloys (Inconel 600, 625; Hastelloy B, B-2, B3, C276, C-22, C-4, G; Incoloy 800, 800H, 825; Monel 400, K500; Nickel 200, 201), Duplex Stainless Alloys (C95800, C95500, C95400, C63200), Aluminum Bronze, and Ceramic Coated Butterfly Valves.
HG-Stahl High-Performance Globe Valves can be equipped with an integrated actuator, enabling automatic control of the fluid. We can provide different control options, including electric and pneumatic methods. HG-Stahl High-Performance Globe Valves can operate at temperatures up to approximately 500°C. Additionally, German Pre-vent GmbH’s BR-12 Model products are successfully offered in Turkey to steel, energy, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and mining industries.
Upon request, non-standard sizes and custom-designed globe valves with unique features can be provided.
