PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
HG-Stahl High-Pressure Valves are products capable of withstanding the pressure levels of the fluid passing through them. Essentially, every valve acts as a pressurized vessel element in the pipeline it is part of. In high-pressure pipelines, the valve body and internal valve components must withstand these pressure levels. Incorrect positioning or improper selection of valve components can lead to permanent deformation of the valve parts, causing leakage.
The range of HG-Stahl High-Pressure Valves includes various products such as ball valves, butterfly valves, globe valves, gate valves, check valves, and bypass valves.
HG-Stahl High-Pressure Valves are specially designed and manufactured. For specific pressure and temperature values, the valves are simulated using CAE programs through finite element analysis before production, ensuring material yield and tensile strengths are appropriately considered in the design phase.
In High-Pressure Valves, metal-seated ball valves can be preferred. Depending on the pressure class and valve size, soft sealing elements such as PTFE, PEEK, Delrin, and Nylon may also be used.
When oil passes through high-pressure valves, carbon steel may be chosen as the valve material, whereas corrosion-resistant stainless materials are preferred for water or similar fluids. For both types of products, depending on your request, HG-Stahl can provide its own designed and manufactured valves or the most suitable option from European, UK, or Chinese-origin products it represents.
In processes such as thermal power plants where high pressure is managed, German-origin Bomafa GmbH products stand out.
HG-Stahl’s high-pressure valve designs prioritize not only resistance to high pressure but also to sudden pressure surges and vibrations. Pressure fluctuations in industrial processes place additional stress on the valve body and sealing elements, leading to deformation and leakage over time. To prevent such issues, vibration-absorbing seals and spring mechanisms resistant to sudden pressure shocks are used in high-pressure valve systems. In valve body designs, structures capable of distributing impact forces are preferred, while in facilities with high-frequency vibrations, locked flange systems are applied at connection points to prevent loosening and connection errors, extending the valve’s lifespan. HG-Stahl’s durable high-pressure valve solutions provide reliable and uninterrupted operation in various sectors, from thermal power plants to petrochemical facilities. High-pressure valves are particularly preferred in ball and globe valves. Sharing detailed information about your process is highly valuable for HG-Stahl to offer the best solution for your high-pressure applications.
