Butterfly valves, with their compact design, are more cost-effective compared to other valve types; however, they may fall short in high-pressure applications. The 90° movement of the disc in the middle either allows or prevents fluid flow.
HG-Stahl Standard Butterfly Valves offer the best solutions to users in many aspects. Based on the connection type, our butterfly valves are available in flanged or wafer designs, adhering to standards such as API 609, EN 558, and ISO 5752. Tightness tests for the valves are conducted according to EN 12266 or ISO 5208.
In standard butterfly valves, sealing materials such as PTFE, NBR, CSM, FPM, CR, Q, and NR can be used. Beyond these materials, which vary based on the fluid’s properties, HG-Stahl also offers metal-to-metal sealing options.
For our HG-Stahl standard butterfly valve products, body materials include options such as steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel-alloy steel, titanium, and Inconel.
At HG-Stahl, we design and manufacture various types of butterfly valves, including Concentric Butterfly Valves, Double-Offset Butterfly Valves, Triple-Offset Butterfly Valves, Wafer-Style Butterfly Valves, Lug-Style Butterfly Valves, Double-Flanged Butterfly Valves, and Butt-Weld Butterfly Valves.
Depending on the sealing material used, our products can withstand temperatures of up to 300°C. In terms of pressure class, they can handle up to a maximum of 40 bar or Class 300, depending on the valve size.
